OK, maybe this is a dumb question... but that has never stopped me before...who is Mark Dever? (I just can't place him, I know I have heard the name.)
He is Pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington DC. Founder of 9 Marks Ministry and author of a couple of books on Church Life.
He also wrote a little known book called Proper Disciplines of the Stalag.
I think Mark Dever reminds me of Chris Matthews from Hardball on MSNBC.
